4th Grade - Woven Treasures

Using yarn, jute and buttons, students of the fourth grade investigated the art of weaving. Concentrating on weaving techniques, patterns and textures emerged into various forms. Decorative and functional items are the finished products including small bags, I-pod cases and a pillow. This process was of interest to all of the students and many of them made more than one weaving.
