The Walk Around Still Life

Students of the fifth grade walked around a still life of gourds, leaves, fabric, and sunflowers and began to create compositions from multiple view points. Art sticks (wood less color pencils) were used for mark making and layering of color. Emphasis on line, implied texture and composition came into view during the process.
