Art in the Apple: New York City and the Visual and Performing ArtsIn the classroom, students studied the visual and performing arts of the 20th and 21st century. The highlight of the Immersion was 7-day trip to New York City to see its famous aspects and study the visual and performing arts. They visited museums, attended performances, and visited with MVS alums who are working in the city in the arts. They walked the streets and saw the buildings and places that give New York its uniqueness, from the Statue of Liberty to the skaters at Rockefeller Center. |
