| Upper School Curriculum |
|
The upper school curriculum fosters a lifelong habit of learning and prepares students for success at our nation’s finest colleges and universities. S A strong, traditional, college-preparatory curriculum prepares students for the rigors of college learning and a solid base upon which to foster lifelong education. In addition to academic work, co-curricular offerings afford students opportunities for self-expression and growth. The school's nationally-recognized Immersion program gives students the opportunity for experiential, in-depth study of topics not necessarily offered in regularly-scheduled courses.
The upper school is a diverse community where students can explore other cultures as they learn about themselves. The Immersion program, as well as other aspects of the academic curriculum, afford students opportunities to communicate with the world beyond the campus. Students are also expected to develop a social conscience through community and school service. |
