The Miami Valley School’s Cameron Porter ’11 will continue his successful soccer career at Princeton University next year. The MVS student-athlete committed to the Tigers in July.

Porter has played soccer at MVS for the past four years. Last school year, he was named the Metro Buckeye Conference’s Player of the Year, as well as named to second team all-state, first team all-conference, and first team all-district.

Porter joins the growing list of recent MVS athletes continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Currently, 16 MVS alumni are completing in college athletics, according to MVS Athletic Director Ken Laake. Five of those athletes compete at the NCAA Division I level.
