Current Families at The Miami Valley School
 At
MVS parents are seen as true partners in their children's education, often
serving as volunteers for special projects or classroom activities. Teachers
and administrators
remain in constant contact with parents, informing them of school events, sending
out weekly classroom reports in the Lower School, and broadcasting opportunities
to volunteer. Without parent participation, school productions, annual traditions
like Homecoming, and fundraising events like the auction wouldn't be possible.
Such opportunities to serve the small school community invariably lead to lifelong
friendships among MVS parents, as well. An excellent way to become involved
at the school is to learn what initiatives the busy and vibrant Parents' Association
is undertaking.
