Parent Association Volunteer Opportunities
Auction Committee
This committee offers a wide variety of opportunities including from soliciting auction items, planning the event, assisting with corporate advertising and sponsorship sales, internal organization of the catalog, and more. Meeting times and attendance requests vary and are flexible to accommodate most schedules.
Author Series
Assist the school with the arrangements associated with this annual speaker series.
Concessions
Families of athletes assist during sporting events with sales of food and beverages.
Faculty Appreciation
Be part of a group that provides appreciation treats/meals at various times of the school year
Flower Sale
Organize and implement this annual fundraiser. Pre-orders are taken in mid February with mid May delivery to the school for distribution.
Grade Parties
Help in the classroom as directed by the Grade Representatives at parties during the school year.
Grade Representatives
Help teachers in the classroom, coordinate parties, chaperones for field trips, and more.
Homecoming
Many volunteer opportunities are available for this fun filled family weekend including concessions, general runner/helper, children’s area, help with implementing the Run for the RAMS, and more. Time commitment varies from one two-hour shift to more if you are interested in offering your time.
Mailings
Assist with large mailings from the school at various times throughout the year by stuffing envelopes. Provide occasional help for the Advancement Office with mailings in the fall and winter of the school year.
Parent Association Officer
Consider a leadership role in the Parent Association by utilizing your computer, finance and organizational skills for this important school association. Speak with any grade representative or current officer about available opportunities.
RAMS Club
This athletic boosters group offers occasional speakers throughout the school year. Assist the Athletic Director with arranging these events.
Reflective Garden
Use your gardening talents to maintain and beautify this tranquil part of our campus inside the main entrance to the school.
SCRIP
Help to organize and distribute gift cards for this important school fundraiser. Time commitments may vary from once a month to a few times per school year, depending on your availability.
Senior Salute
Help coordinate this after prom event for the Upper School students. Available jobs include soliciting donations from local businesses, coordinating food donations from parents, set up/decorating, and clean up.
Spirit Shop
Volunteer your time to sell items in the school’s retail shop near the tennis barn.
Spring Fling
This annual event held in May of each year offers many levels of volunteer opportunities ranging from pre- planning in the 3 months leading up to the event to working a two hour shift on the day of the event. Most volunteers on the day of the event are working at a booth or a game set up in the festival.
