ScholarshipsSeveral MVS families and friends have generously contributed to The Miami Valley School by establishing named scholarships. These scholarships have been created to attract high quality students and help support excellence. Prospective students who are interested in applying for a scholarship are invited to participate in an annual testing session. The Miami Valley School Scholarship and Admission Testing for students entering grades 6 - 12 is scheduled for Sunday, December 2, 2007 , January 13, 2008, and February 10, 2008 1:00 - 4:00. Scholarship candidates will be notified by February 17, 2008. Individual scholarship candidate interviews will be March 1, 2008. The Scholarship program is administered through the Admission Office. While test scores are important, the committee is especially interested in students of outstanding character who will enrich the student body with their demonstrated talents in academics, athletics, fine arts, or leadership.
Financial AssistanceMVS offers Financial Assistance for families with demonstrated need. Approximately 18 % of MVS students receive financial aid. FACTS can be accessed by going to www.factstuitionaid.com. They will require 2007 W2's and 2006 tax returns. They will then notify the Business Office of the amount of need.
