The Miami Valley School operates within three divisions for specialized
learning according to student growth and development. Highlights of each
division include:
Lower School
(K-Grade 5)
- Develop a love of learning in a nurturing environment
- Personalized attention for students to master basic academic skills
in preparation for accelerated programs
- Exceptional programs for growth and creativity including visual arts,
performing arts, science, and language arts
- Full Day Kindergarten
- In-depth experiential programs each year to learn and explore beyond
the classroom
Middle School
(Grades 6-8)
- Nurturing environment during critical transition years for students
as they experience physical, intellectual and social growth.
- Small class sizes and challenging curriculum with personalized attention
during these pivotal years
- Small group advisories to encourage frequent contact with faculty to
help students cultivate respect and self reliance.

Upper School
(Grade 9 - 12)
- Nationally-recognized immersion program for intensive study on selected
topic
