Counseling Services / MVS Health TeamThe health team, which consists of two faculty members, under the direction of the school counselor, is set up to assist and support students in making appropriate choices, providing them with assistance in personal decision-making. The health team takes referrals from any source (student, parent, teacher, or coach), but will not act on anonymous information. Who is on the Health Team? The current Health Team is made up of Christie Matthews (MS & US School Psychologist) and Ms. Anne Griffith (Upper School Teacher). They were asked to represent the upper school students and faculty. What is their goal? The goal of the Health Team is to get help to Upper School students with on-going problems as soon as possible to keep the students happy, healthy, and in school. The team's main focus is to resolve concerns, gather information and suggest possible sources of formal help a student, faculty member or family may use.
