MVS Advancement The Institutional Advancement office coordinates the school's fundraising efforts, handles alumni relations, public relations, communications, marketing, special events, and capital campaigns. Annual giving to The Miami Valley School is done primarily through the school's Annual Fund. Money raised through the Annual Fund is used to help fund faculty salaries, Immersion, financial assistance, and other critically important components of the school. The Miami Valley School has, with the help of the Parents Association, held an auction gala each year for more than fifteen years. The proceeds of the auction also help bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of educating MVS students.
