Support The Miami Valley School
The Institutional Advancement office not only coordinates the school's fundraising efforts, but also handles alumni relations, public relations, marketing, special event coordination, and capital campaigns (when applicable). Annual giving to The Miami Valley School is done primarily through the school's Annual Fund. Money raised through the Annual Fund is used to help fund faculty salaries, Immersion, financial assistance, and other critically important components of the school. The Miami Valley School has, with the help of the Parents Association, held an auction gala each year for more than fifteen years. The proceeds of the auction also help bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of educating MVS students. virtually all independent schools, tuition at The Miami Valley School
provides only a portion of the actual cost of educating our students.
In most years, tuition at MVS covers about 95% of the school's actual
expenses. We rely on charitable giving to bridge the gap between what
tuition provides and the actual cost of running the school every year.
