How can Alumni best stay involved?

Attend an Event

Throughout the year, MVS alumni and friends are invited to attend local and regional events. These events provide an opportunity to make new connections, celebrate the school’s progress, and have some fun! For more information and to RSVP, browse upcoming events below or contact at

Become a Class Agent

Class Agents serve as a liaisons, communicators, stewards, and motivators between The Miami Valley School and its alumni. Volunteers from each graduating class of MVS comprise its Class Agent program.

The overall goals for Class Agents are to increase alumni participation at Homecoming and other events, help spread important MVS news on social media, contribute to the alumni newsletter and magazine, and increase donations to The MVS Fund by writing letters, offering feedback, and participating in Phonathons.

As Liaisons

  • Allow MVS to place their contact information on the alumni website as a resource for fellow classmates
  • Help the Development Office identify volunteers for special projects
  • Assist with Homecoming promotion and ideas

As Communicators

  • Share information with the Development Office about alumni demographic changes and classmate concerns
  • Share newsworthy information with fellow alumni via social media and word of mouth

As Stewards

  • Offer input on recognition for the Distinguished Alumni Awards
  • Submit class notes and encourage their classmates to do the same

As Motivators

  • Encourage classmates to attend and volunteer for alumni events
  • Advocate for participation in The MVS Fund via written communication and word of mouth
