On February 19, Ars Nova, the MVS upper school a cappella choir, competed in the Midwest Quarterfinal of the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA). The competition, which was held at Harrison High School in Harrison, OH, featured nine groups from three states. Ars Nova placed first in the competition, clinching a berth in the Midwest Semifinal on March 19.
