At The Miami Valley School, the focus on experiential learning moves far beyond the classroom into an array of athletic programs.

Our athletic program helps develop the skill level of student athletes in grades three through 12, and at the varsity level provides the opportunity for first-rate athletic competition. A member of the Metro Buckeye Conference, the MVS athletic program has enjoyed a number of successes over the years by encouraging participation at every level.

The benefits of athletics are clear: research shows that student athletes approach their class work with greater discipline, commitment and enthusiasm than non-athletes. In addition, athletics are fundamental to the development of the whole child and to the acquisition of skills and attitudes that bring success to students throughout their lives.

With 14 varsity sport offerings, MVS students are consistently named to all-conference and all-teams teams.

The Miami Valley School is also home to excellent sporting facilities, including two college-length gymnasiums, six all-weather tennis courts, and two of the finest soccer and lacrosse fields in the Dayton area.
