Be the change immersion awards $1750 through participation in Magnified Giving

Risha Annamraju ’18, a student from Be The Change 2016 Immersion, represented the group by presenting a grant for $1750 to Melanoma Know More on May 11. The event was held at Bishop Fenwick School.

Magnified Giving is a Midwest based, not-for-profit (501 c 3), educational organization, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Their mission is to educate, inspire and engage students in philanthropy, and to touch the hearts and minds of teens, lighten the concerns of others, and magnify the impact of philanthropy.

Annamraju selected a week long internship with Melanoma Know More as a part of Be The Change Immersion and campaigned for the nonprofit organization to receive the grant dollars in a well-documented presentation about her internship experience, the agency’s culture and budget.
