MVS Jazz Band Shines in Joint Concert with Wright State University

On Tuesday, November 14, the MVS upper school jazz band had the Rose Theater swinging as they played a double bill with the Wright State University Jazz Ensemble, with opening performance by the WSU Saxophone Quartet!
The MVS band had the opportunity for a group clinic prior to the concert with Stephen Wadsack, director of the WSU Jazz Ensemble, and Prof. Wadsack also sat in with the MVS group for two tunes.
The concert was organized by MVS Director of Bands, Kyle Semmelroth, who is himself a graduate student at Wright State, along with Mr. Wadsack. Congratulations to both bands on a great show!
